APPARATUS USED
1. Telescope
(I) It employs an achromatic objective of 25 mm aperture and 17.5 cm local length with 10x Ramsden eyepiece and 90° cross line and working distance adjustable by rack and pinion FL of lens 100 cm to infinity. The telescope is carried on a sturdy stand with 1⁄2" steel C. P. rod. Focus by smooth rack and pinion. with up and down motion, tube is fitted with vertical movement by a fine micrometer screw & with scale & holder.
(ii) Reading Telescope Deluxe with 1" Rod fitted on a heavy cast iron base with three leveling screws. fitted with adjustable screws for precise vertical and horizontal positioning. provided with scale & holder
2. Rectangular Adjustable Slit with micrometer arrangement,
All metallic with Brass C.P. Slit which can be opened with a fine screw single for diffraction grating clamp type and is fitted on prism table of spectrometer for interference of light experiment.
