APPARATUS USED
1. Platinum resistance thermometer
The resistors are of manganin coils bridge wire is accurately calibrated. Vernier is attached to the sliding contact and fine slow motion available mercury contacts are fitted. Length of the slide wire is 30 cm. Resistance valuesare0.1,0.2,0.4,0.8,1.6,3.2,6.4,12.8and 0.15ohm for 30cm slide wire. Range of resistance measurable.
2. Calender and Griffith bridge
an The 50 cm long side wire of 1 ohm resistance is calibrated into 100 equal parts. 14 coils are arrangeding series in dial form each being of 1 ohm resistance.
Terminals arranged for appropriate working of different instruments provided with sliding jockey on rod. Accuracy of adjustment +/- 0.05%.
3. Electric kettle
made of stainless steel, single walled mains operated 220V AC with LID
4. Battery eliminator 1 amp D.C. in steps of 2 V 2 amp
